- KG FLOWER DAY
Flower day was celebrated with great enthusiasm. Children came in beautiful floral dresses and brought flowers of different varieties. There was a short entertainment programme which included action songs and dances. The highlight of the celebration was the ‘Giant flower competition ‘. - Fruits and Vegetables Day celebrated
“”Eat fresh fruits and veggies to stay healthy ” with this objective, our Marian buds celebrated ‘Fruit and Vegetable day’. Out tiny tots came dressed in attires matching the Day’s celebration with fruits and veggies of their choice. Rhymes were sung with great enthusiasm. Teachers conducted a quiz game to test the knowledge of the youngsters which was indeed a fun packed entertainment for everyone. All the kiddies enjoyed the moments of joy and happiness on this special day. The day ended with a positive message that fruits and vegetables are better than junk food. ” Previous Next
- Inter school quiz competition named “MARIAN MIND SPARKS”
Fr. Thomas Poothathil Memorial inter school Quiz competition “MARIAN MIND SPARKS”2020. There were 31 schools in UP category & 33 schools in HS category. The Priliminary round was conducted by our Quiz master Rev. Fr. Aji Puthiyaparambil, Director of Alpha Academy. For the inaugural ceremony, the Chief guest was Mr. Shibu F Paul, S I of Chevayur police station and he inaugurated the program by lightning the lamp. The inaugural dance was awesome. There was also a digital presentation of the ‘life of Fr. Thommiyachan’. The closing ceremony began at 1 pm. The chief guest was Adv. Abraham Joseph Thadathil, Prize were given by the dignitaries. The winners got a Trophy and cash award of Rs. 3000/-. The first runner-up got a Trophy & Rs. 2000/-. The second runner-up got cash award of Rs. 1500/-. All the participants were given certificates. The results were as as follows:- U P – first prize : St. Marys English Medium School, Chevaramabalm. 2nd prize- Bharathiya Vidhya Bhavan, Chevayur. 3rd Prize- St. Joseph’s Junior School, Kozhikode. - New Year celebration 2020
The New year was ushered in good spirits. The theme for the academic year 2020-21, “Time Spent with family is worth every second” was unveiled by our Principal Sr. Anice and Vice Principal Sr. Gladis. The assembly was made more colourful with our former students Master Solomon and Master Simon singing a devotional song. The theme was brought about with a vibrant skit. - Christmas Celebration 2019
Birth of Jesus Christ, Christmas, is celebrated in our school Junior School on 19/12/19 and in Senior School on 20/12/2019. Rev. Sr. Lisby, Manager, gave a meaningful Christmas message. The energetic performance by our students added colours to our christmas celebrations, Carols and skit by students brought, the day of birth of Christ, back to the stage. Diwali, the festival of light was celebrated nicely by KG kids. Kids lit diyas and put rangoli. Sr. Soly’s presence was an additional reason for their pleasure.

At St.Mary’s children learn the basic principle of caring and sharing. This year too, each Marian contributed to their best to this cause. The collective amount was sufficient enough to support a Marian family member with a house.

- KG Colour Day
Colour day was organized in an elaborate way. Each class was decorated and the kids enjoyed to their maximum. This was to give strong foundations of colours for little angels.
- Onam Celebration

- Independence day
Patriotism is a strong feeling for the country , which can be instilled during childhood days. Indian flag was hoisted in the senior school, on that day . Special assembly was conducted in the junior & senior schools and the great contributions of India’s great freedom fighters were remembered.

In order to make the foundations of Flowers ,in the best way for the little angels, a flower day was organized. Flower Prince and Flower Princes were honoured in this function.
- ASISC North zone Kho-Kho tournament hosted by St.Mary’s
Our school hosted a sport event of CISCE North Zone, for the first time ,in the history of the school. School campus was decked up to receive participants from far and wide ICSE/ISC schools of Malabar region. - Cultural fest – Varnotsav
Students are divided into 4 houses; diamond, emerald, ruby & sapphire. House wise screening is conducted. Winners of each event(Group events and individual events) were honoured with awards. Varnotsav, our cultural fest , had given a huge platform for performing arts / visual arts , for growing artists/writers/ orators etc…. - Investiture
The investiture ceremony for the academic year 2019 -20 was held on 24th June. The school held election for the first time in the history of St.Mary’s school where the students could elect their Head Boy and Head Girl. All the members of the student council were given sash and badges by the Chief Guest, Mr Jose George IPS. The Principal, Rev. Sr Anice administered the oath to the newly elected members of the school cabinet. She reminded them that they are the torch bearers of all the values that the school stands for and urged them to take up the responsibility with commitment and integrity . Toppers of the ICSE and ISC of the academic year 2018-19 were also felicitated, in the presence of their parents. The winners of Kerala Prince & Princess competition also were felicitated.
