RATIONAL NUMBERS
- A rational number is any number that can be named in the form a/b, where a and b are integers and b#0(b not equal to zero).
- Zero is a rational number
- Every fraction is a rational number but a rational number need not be a fraction.
- A rational number is said to be in standard form, if it’s denominator is positive and it is in the lowest form.
- The reciprocal of a rational number is also called its multiplicative inverse.
