International Women’s Day is celebrated on the 8th of March every year around the world. It is a focal point in the movement for women’s rights. International Women’s day was observed in our assembly by Class V C through a skit.

India’s great scientist CV Raman invented the ‘Raman Effect’ on this day and won Nobel Prize for the same.The great physicist Sir Chandrashekhar Venkat Raman made an important discovery in the serious subject of physics on February 28, 1928. Now, the Government of India felicitates scientists every year on this day who contributed to the field of science.

plants, showed and explained its uses. And they have also done some experiments

Meditation is conducted last Friday of every month. Our in-charge Sr Yeldha guides us to train attention and awareness and achieve a mentally clear and emotionally calm and stable state of mind. It instills in our students the presence of the Almighty.
World Cancer Day is an international day marked on February 4 to raise awareness of cancer and to encourage its prevention, detection, and treatment. World Cancer Day is led by the Union for International Cancer Control (UICC) to support the goals of the World Cancer Declaration, written in 2008. The primary goal of World Cancer Day is to significantly reduce illness and death caused by cancer and is an opportunity to rally the international community to end the injustice of preventable suffering from cancer. Indira Gandhi was elected as the Prime Minister of India on
January 24. To commemorate this day, every year 24th January is
observed as National Girl Child Day. The day was set apart for this by the
Ministry of Woman and Child Development, India in 2008, with the purpose to
spread awareness among the people about all the inequalities girls face in the
Indian society.
The day was observed by Class VI C in the assembly through
special talk and an inspiring skit.
National youth day is observed by our country on 12th January of the every year, which is the birthday of the social reformer Swamy Vivekananda.Our VI B students presented a skit depicting the role of present day youth and their positive as well as negative influence in the society.
