FARMERS DAY
*Farmers’ Day Field Trip – UKG Kids (06/02/2026)*
As part of Farmers’ Day, our UKG children were taken on a field trip to gain real-life learning experiences. Our first visit was to Dwaraka Fish Farm at Poolakkadavu, where the farm owners, Mr. and Mrs. Ranjish, warmly welcomed us.
At the farm, the children were delighted to see a large aquarium filled with tiny, colourful fishes. They also observed the hatcheries and many newly hatched fishes. Seeing cows on the farm was a new experience for many of the children. The presence of different varieties of plants further enriched their learning. Mr. Ranjish explained the various types of fishes in a simple and interesting manner, making the visit enjoyable and informative.
Next, we visited a paddy field at Poolakkadavu. The children experienced firsthand the sight of paddy plants, rice grains, and water-filled fields. It was a wonderful and memorable learning experience. Along with learning, the children enjoyed the day by sharing and caring with their friends.
Overall, the field trip was an enriching and joyful experience for the children.
